Coming off the main road we drive up the Villas' long private driveway, alongside the Olive and Almond plantations that belong to the Villa. Below the porch at the driveway level, we have the entrance to the apartment. Sax is a thriving traditional Spanish town with a nice mix of nationalities. It has excellent amenities, wide range of shops, over 50 bars and restaurants, a theatre, indoor and outdoor swimming pools, parks, various schools, a hotel as well as a beautifully restored castle, which is lit up at night. There are also train and bus links with Alicante airport and the beaches in 30 mins.
